Over the years IAM have developed and produced many resources for Training and Conference purposes and due to other field related experiences.  You will also find resources under different categories.

Three (3) of our most important empowering resources are:

A training manual deals with reconciling sexuality and spirituality. This manual includes ways of interpreting the Bible, understanding the principles of dialogue, techniques for personal story telling and reasons for the importance of being involved in the dialogue process with the Church. Download

A training manual for congregations that deals with ways of listening to others, methods for conflict resolution, the preference for dialogue over debate, the stories of some LGBTI people, how to read the Bible inclusively, how to be an inclusive and affirming congregation and provide a model statement of inclusivity (an Afrikaans version available). Download

The eight Bible studies consist of: one (1) focusing on how to read the Bible; three (3) on texts of the OT (Gen 1-3, Gen 19, Lev 18 and 20); three (3) on texts of the NT (Rom 1, 1 Cor 6 and 1 Tim 1) and the last one focusing on Jesus Christ as the bridge between the Bible and today (an Afrikaans version is available). 2.    DVD’s and other material
  • “Created in the Image of God”  stories of LGBTI Christians is the main focus, with some commentary by renowned theologians like Emeritus Archbishop Desmond Tutu. 
  • “Ter wille van ons kinders” (For the sake of our children) is the appealing witness of 7 parents of gay children, specifically made for the 2007 General Synod of Dutch Reformed Church.
